Tony Hudgell Story- What Happened To His Biological Parents After Convicted Of Child Abuse?

Tony Hudgell was brutally beaten in Kings Hill, Kent when he was a baby. The attackers were his parents, Jody Simpson and Anthony Smith. They were convicted of child abuse four years ago.

The pair was sentenced to 10 years at Maidstone Crown Court in February 2018. They have only completed half of their jail time but will get out of prison in the upcoming weeks.

Because of his cruel parents, Tony suffered broken fingers and toes and ligament injuries. They also made him suffer for ten days before taking him to a health care facility,

When doctors first saw him, he was on the brink of death. Both of his legs were required to be amputated. Tony was later adopted by Paila Hudgell, 54, who has invested a lot of time in campaigning for stricter punishment for child abusers.

Jody Simpson, 24, and Anthony Smith, 47, faced ten years of prison for torturing their baby so severely that he lost both legs.

The pair were supposed to be released in around 2028, but shockingly, they will get out of jail this year, halfway through their sentence.

Tom, 7, is furious that this is happening. He can’t believe those who cause him lifelong trouble and challenges will walk free after just four/five years of jail time. He aspires to become a police officer to re-arrest him in the future.

Simpson will get out of prison this week and Smith at the end of the following month. After hearing this, Paula expressed she felt sick. People on social media sites like Twitter have also criticized the justice system.
